O R D E R
I find that Rule 84 of the Rules of Practice for the Circuit Courts (1) empowers the Court Administrator to establish procedures for maintaining records by all magistrates and other officers and employees of the courts, subject to the approval of the Supreme Court.
I further find that by Order of the Chief Justice dated September 10, 1979, the municipal courts of this state are required to submit a summary monthly report to the office of Court Administration, on a form and in a manner prescribed by the Office of Court Administration.
I further find that the Office of Court Administration has prescribed summary monthly report forms for magistrate courts and municipal courts and the procedures for submitting these forms including a requirement that each magistrate and municipal judge mail the report to South Carolina Court Administration within fifteen (15) days from the end of each month. (2)
I further find that certain magistrates and municipal judges are consistently late in submitting their reports, and that it is necessary that a firm date be set when summary report forms must be received by the Office of Court Administration.
The judges of the magistrate courts and the municipal courts of South Carolina being a part of the uniform statewide judicial system, and pursuant to the provisions of Article V, Section 4, South Carolina Constitution,
IT IS ORDERED that each magistrate and each municipal judge submit a summary monthly report to the Office of Court Administration, on forms prepared in a manner prescribed by the Office of Court Administration, which must be actually received in the Office of Court Administration not later than the fifteenth (15) day of the month following the month being reported.

1. Circuit Court Rule 84 has been re-numbered as Rule 78(a), S.C. Rules of Civil Procedure (SCRCP).
2. Summary Monthly Reports are no longer required of magistrates. Municipal judges are required to comply with every term of this Order, however.
