Agnes Dale Moore Gable was born in Columbia, South Carolina to the late W.W. Moore and Mary Wilkes Moore of Snelling. She was raised in Barnwell, South Carolina, graduating from Barnwell High School in 1973.
In December of 1976 she graduated, Cum Laude, from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Upon graduation from the USC Law School in 1980, she joined the S.C. Judicial Department as a Staff Attorney with the Supreme Court. In 1983 she became a Staff Attorney with the S.C. Attorney General's Office, followed by becoming an Associate with Bedingfield Law Offices of Barnwell, S.C. from 1984 to 1988.
In 1988 she was popularly elected as Probate Judge for Barnwell County. She held this position until her election by the General Assembly on February 7, 2001 to the Family Court bench, Seat 2, Second Judicial Circuit. Her term of office is from July 1, 2001 through June 30, 2007.
She is married to Timothy R. Gable, Co-Owner and Pharmacist with Daniel's Pharmacy. She resides on the family farm, near Barnwell, with husband Tim, 2 children (William and Mary Katherine), 2 Boykin Spaniels, 2 pigs and an assortment of cats, goats and chickens.
