Chief Justice Jean Hoefer Toal Recognized by Government Technology |
Chief Justice Jean Hoefer Toal has been
recognized as one of Government
Technology magazine's Top 25 for 2002. Each year the magazine selects
25 people who played key roles in the use of technology to strengthen government
operations and improve services. Chief Justice
Toal is the guiding force behind South Carolina's Judicial Automation Project,
an ambitious plan to modernize state courts by integrating technology into all
court levels -- from the Supreme Court to the Magistrate Court.
