REQUEST FOR WRITTEN COMMENTS |
The South Carolina Bar has
proposed amendments to Rule 1.15, Safekeeping Client Property, regarding
the disbursement of funds, and the Terminology Section and
Rule 8.5,
SCRPC, Rule 407, SCACR, regarding applicability of the Rules of Professional
Conduct to the provision of non-legal services.
Persons desiring to submit written comments regarding these proposals may
do so by filing an original and seven (7) copies of their written comments with
the Supreme Court addressed to the Honorable Daniel E. Shearouse, Clerk of
Court, P.O. Box 11330, Columbia, South Carolina 29211.
Any written comments must be received by the Supreme Court by Friday,
August 2, 2002.
